Hey I know you made this like two years ago but just wanted to let you know, SC stands for smart card. Also that long port you said you didn't know is actually a connector for a docking station. Lastly, an m.2 drive is actually a type of SSD. It's the same as an SSD just a different form factor, and it's also occasionally faster than most other SSD's. I suggest before making a video like this, google the information first to make sure you are able to accurately tell the viewers what everything is, other than that, this was a great overview of the laptop, I'm actually looking to get an 840 g4 soon.

You like it still? I'm looking at used laptops mid range power ish for running DAW outside. Guitar vids. Maybe some rom and phone repairs. I have an old 2013 Dell XPS desktop 8/ ram ddr3 haha and i5 2320 with GtX 6770. So this would be a huge upgrade.

I've actually upgraded to an Hp laptop with Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U, I got on facebook. If you look around you can find a pretty nice used laptop on there. No sorry, this laptop wont support USB C to charge the laptop. and You cant plug in a USB C to Hdmi. for an monitor. The port needs to Show an D or ++d

They are about the same. But if the e7470 has a Native Resolution 1920x1080, i would get that one. for better display.

Sorry I don't know if the 850 has an light up keyboard but the HP EliteBook 840 G3 has a light up keyboard.

Here are parts I recommend. you can get an 2.5 drive like an ssd. like Western Digital 1TB WD Blue 3D NAND Internal PC SSD. Or change out your m.2 and upgrade to an larger size. then reinstall an fresh windows for hecka fast speeds. save time and money. Check the HP website for drivers for the fingerprint sensor. And I think it purchased it used two years ago for like 300$ usd

Not really. Since there is not a dedicated graphics card on it. I don't recommend this for gaming.

1. it should be okay its built for buissiness. 2. they dont make this anymore so. there might not be nay. 3. since its used not really. you might want to buy an new battery. 4. ya it has two fans in it. 5. integrated graphics. yes you can upgrade it and it says SSD. but you have to transfer everything you have on it first. to install new one. 6. I think there is one installed on it but you have to pay. you can try open office which is free. or the google doc and files.

Google says you need an better resolution monitor, and more ram. Just a little feedback for you - maybe learn a little about what the laptop's features and ports are before doing your review. Viewers don't want to hear you umming, ahhhing and guessing about what things are. SC stands for smart card by the way. Put a little more knowledge and a little more enthusiasm into your next video and you won't get so many thumbs-downs.
