I saw him this same year at garden of the gods in Portland Oregon and my goodness what a performance that was. Hozier is ethereal

Ive never heard him enunciate so much it made me realize how many lyrics i was mishearing

This is one of the most beautiful performances of one of the most beautiful songs on the album by one of the most beautiful artists of our time.

His accent comes through so strong here.

Listened to this about 15 times in a row. His voice, the lyrics. I liked him before and now I’m officially obsessed.

Unf. When that Irish accent rises and falls, I am swept away.

This guy is a true genius!

The raw emotion in this one is breathtaking. You are literally transported to another dimension where only his voice guides you.

Oh my god the double strings on the violon! This might be my favourite version of the song, they are so talented. You can literary feel like you're in Ireland

It’s a style of playing called rolling fiddle (rolling violin). I learned it from my grandpa back when He tried teaching me to play music. It was always my favorite. The violin intro to Free by Zac Brown is a great example. By the way, we saw Hozier in Dallas and it was one of the best sounding shows ever.

@rose petal nah the way he looked away that had to have been he didn’t mean to do that, he changes his songs a lot Crome performance to performance but he never makes it sound like he fails to hit a note

One of the best song of 2018, undoubly.

I think this is better than the live performance shot in Windmill studios.
