even better sometimes for deep dives to recite lyrics rather than sing them to focus on what it really means especially for this song where the tone and vibes of the song is kind of a misdirect.

Not only did she make me meet this kids to help them out with their work being one of the biggest Hozier fans, but also became a fan of his work herself. Now she keeps telling her new batch of students to analyse Hozier’s works.

As a 20something in America, this song was very cartharic. I know it's not about us but we really are that close to eating our young here while at the same time taking rights away to ensure there are enough young to feed to these billionaires. I have such little hope for mine or my generation's future but songs like this can inspire anger and hope in us. Our only chance is to change things as we come into power and I can only hope it happens sooner than later.

What really impress me most about Hozier is that he is still so young but is so reflective and wise. We usually associate wisdom with age and life experience. And he is always genuine, kind and humble. But at the same time has the courage and honesty to stand up for what he believes in and expresses his beliefs in words, deeds, and music. He is a walking example for his values. There are people who don't like him and mock his lyrics. But these people can criticise all they like. One thing they can never accuse him of is him being a phoney or hypocrite. I don't just love the guy. I respect him as a person.
