So true. Wolves never forget you, how you smell, how you look and how you sound. My beautiful Husky Snickers who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last December trained all of our other dogs how to howl (not your typical howling breeds) and it always helped to dispel anxiety and bring all of us closer.

Reminds me of Scarlett, a black wolf we had. She thought she was literally part of the family, and expected to be with us and go wherever we went. One time we went camping but my parents didn't take Scarlett. When we came home, the tent wa had in the yard, was torn to itty bitty tiny shreds. She was letting us know how she felt. But she was a sweet heart. She was so different from any other dog we ever had. I miss her.

One of the most touching parts of this video to me is seeing JUST how comfortable he is with her -he feels SO totally safe around her: they don't generally like their paws touched but he's got his paws effectively in your hands, his belly is directly exposed to you........and he doesn't even look, not even hardly once, in your direction whatsoever; just entirely closed eyes or looking up at the sky -that's real trust ☺.

I live in Florida and my buddy had a timber wolf lookes identical this color and height and it was full blooded papers and all don't know a difference but I know this looks identical to a timber wolf and I can promise you she's only about 5 ft nothing maybe 5'1 but her name was Sheba and she was huge and she was extremely smart I didn't even know their brain was double size of a dogs I was only 14 at the time but identical to a timberwolf

Isn’t this actually a malamute? They’re similar to huskies in looks but much larger. When I had Akitas in the ring the malamutes were usually around at about the same time.

Oh wow what is happening here!? That is absolutely amazing I didn't realize wolves were that peaceful, I thought they might be but being wild could be aggressive enough that you wouldn't be able to do this. This really made my heart sing, I want to hold hands with the wolves ❤

FYI wolves don't keep in tune. They all have their own distinct howl so all members of the pack can hear each other.

@@lloydsaul997 Yes I realise this, she as a human is mimicking the wolve's howl in tune, this is all I meant. Also if you look @ grapeseed 427 2months ago in comments wrote Wolf is so proud, like "look, I taught my human to speak. This comment has 6.9K thumbs up. I also gave them thumbs up & many others for their good heartedly comments. When the next full moon appears I'll be listening, I might hear you..lol

In my town, the fire station siren sounds at noon. All dogs starts howling together, ( even me, sometimes), it is really beautiful. The fact that " the Great Sacred Dog always howls at the special hour" makes it almost religious 😂😂

My friend, Debi, would howl at the moon and whoever was there would join in with her. She had a massive heart attack and died in my arms almost a year ago. I miss her so much but her memory lives on. Now she's dancing and howling at the moon with the angels. RIP love and miss you, my friend. ❤️
