Colin - hate to point out …right at the start you blank the face of the delivery driver… you forgot his reflection in the window!😂😂 I completely missed it but my eagle eyed daughter spotted it immediately - i played it again and she was right! Smart @rse. Cracking vid and amazing patience with the weather over that weekend.

love your videos mate but what i have to disagree on is the cost of campsites these days. lets be honest, you are hiring a piece of land for one night...£36 is pretty steep. A cheap hotel room aint much more.

Yeah you're totally right with that. What I've noticed is that the more a campsite has to offer (and the more staff they have) the more expensive the plot is...

Yep you're right, it's been mentioned a few times re: the expense. I do think it should be cheaper during the week though.

Great video as usual, got to admire your determination to keep going out no matter what the weather. My Mrs always get very worried about you having the fire pit under the canopy….surely a major fire risk!

Ah thanks matey... Yeah I always make sure that the fire pit is at the highest end of the canopy and have water to hand at all times. But even after having the fire at its most raging and having my hand above it there is a very slim chance it will catch on the canopy. Always best be safe though and don't do what I do 😂😂

Colin, have a look at a solo Mesa XL for a one or two person fire pit......banish stinking of fire...... game changer

Love your choice of campsites they always look great with no obvious negatives.........are we right thinking they are not club sites. we are in North Devon and will visit the sites you show as all looks amazing.....thank you for all the positive ideas you give us. keep 'em coming and big thank you"s. keep safe and continue to enjoy life. all the very best .Jill

I've recently bought an Outdoor Revolution self inflating mattress with the "cutout". It's made for our vans and fits perfectly "downstairs". But.....I find it a faff rolling back up personally. Luckily I rarely sleep in the van so it's not so bad. They're are comfy though.....you gotta try one 👍🏼

I have the same mattress and use the paddleboard pump to deflate it. You may be able to get a small pump like the flex tail to deflate it.

@@DarrenFeeney I bought one of the Outdoor Revolution mini pumps for that reason but because the valves have to been half open, the pump just won't fit 🤦🏻‍♂️

Haha I hope not mate 😂😂! When the fire pit protector came I did wonder if it was just an old reflector they couldn't sell as a reflector 😂😂! But it's much heavier and more dense than any of the reflectors I have..

Hey buddy it's just a cheap cd tablet holder from Amazon, there are 100s... It's been ok but a bit wobbly with a pad on it, but ok with the phone amzn.to/46TaiZo
