@@TexasNewsOwL yeah it was waiting to happen an i think he knew it was coming he just did not care its frustrating to see him waste all his talent an the opportunity he got to be with howard stern on his radio show.. many comics would give their testicles to be in that position an artie came from the struggle from woorking as long shoremen so he knew what it was like to wake up every day an work to make ends meet he even was a taxi driver at one stage its really sad to see him go through that an its all about choice no matter if your friends or family try to help you if the person dont want to help themself they aint gonna get out of that rut cause they love it

I know a guy in upper peninsula of michigan who did that in the 70s for couple hundred dollars not sure if he made it out of the bank but he served 20 years and was white but pretty sure he was serious and wasn't a joke

The story does not make any sense. Artie is with his girlfriend and then decides to "flirt" with another woman by threatening violence. Notice how when the cops showed up everybody immediately suspected Artie. Maybe if the authorities had taken this seriously Artie wouldn't have become such a degenerate.
