He knew damn well that Howard would shoot it down if Ronnie showed him a stretch Escalade so he did it and figured Howard would just deal with it. What person in their right mind would spend $200k on a limo for your one and only client without showing them what it’s going to look like? Ronnie has this passive aggressive thing with Howard where Howard can’t do enough to prove his loyalty to Ronnie and when Howard blew him off to look at the car, Ronnie got butthurt and this was his way of getting revenge, but then he also really loved the truck and wanted to cry when he finally had to accept that it was going to work out.
