Review: ok I’m glad you’ve got a sponsor and looks like the quality went up. So that’s good! Buuutt I liked the off-beat street interviews more. The low budget vibes felt more real. The vibes were off with the random gifts and the more professional set up. Maybe you were nervous? I felt like I didn’t feel as much of your energy as usual. Not as witty as usual. Pace was slower and the ppl interviewed were kind of dull/low energy. There were some awkward parts (the lez girl), not much laughter, and long silences that should have been cut in editing. No memorable parts for me unlike your older stuff (ie: evil Zendaya). Personally I’m not into the minor celebs giving PR answers. I skipped through most of victorias part because it dragged and felt too stiff in the classroom setting. I’m here for the real tea! That felt too… staged? Just remember that YOU are the star and the reason we watch, not them! Maybe focus more on the comedy/fun of random interesting people than big names? For this episode it would’ve been nice to sprinkle in some homecoming events or some step shows or some after parties where people are more loose and upbeat, rather than lines and dreary courtyards. Probably would’ve gotten some better interviews/more willing participants. These students were way more guarded than NYC. Also, switch up the questions beyond “cheating” and tailor it to your interviewee. Most college kids haven’t been in love. And don’t be afraid to be raunchy! It’s college. It’s a wild time of sexual exploration and fun. Would’ve loved to hear some hard hitting questions about THAT! I think you missed out on what’s really going on at such a major HBCU. Just my opinion tho. Lastly, look into Ziwe’s interviewing style on YT. I think taking some pointers from her would boost your show. Even outfit wise, I think you could switch it up and be a bit more iconic. This outfit was v dull in comparison to your other fits and since you’re the star and it’s your show you can’t fade into the background. Anyway, keep that charisma up and keep going! Love HRS!

Honestly, this is such a great comment with constructive criticism. Love it. I do miss the memes and fast paced editing but I also suspect he wanted to do a more professional style video because of the sponsorship. I also enjoyed how comfortable he was with Victoria. But I understand and agree with some of your criticism
