I hope I see him also some day helping the black U.S. farmers who are all but getting shut out of farm and tax incentives right here in the U.S.
For philanthropy in Africa - "We need to quit thinking about the way we do it in America" - that's very true. The farming techniques that works in Nebraska is destined to fail in most parts of Africa. Just giving them seed and even equipment that works well in Nebraska and expecting things to get better is not going to work. This was a really impressive piece.

Most experts agree that index funds are very good investments for long-term investors. They are low-cost options for obtaining a well-diversified portfolio that passively tracks an index. Be sure to compare different index funds or ETFs to be sure you are tracking the best index for your goals and at the lowest cost.

love the breakdown. I've gradually built my finance and made my first $100k through investing which i've used to start my jewellery business, and with what I’ve learned over a decade investing, given enough time, solid investments have the potential to double the initial principal amount, but many investors are instead attracted to the lure of high yields in short periods of time despite the possibility of Unattractive losses before Even getting Out. So the onus is on newbies to beware. Having multiple income streams helped me stay afloat in business when the pandemic broke out.

As long as the investigative journalism does not investigate the oligarch/corporate donor owners of our rigged system of genocidal profiteering. There has been no real investigative work for decades. Notice how they paint the Buffets as real down hometown people, as their companies rape the American populace for profits. Suffering by many for the enrichment of a few. I am not going to throw flowers at these robber baron donor elites. Next, you will tell me greed is good and profits are the only motivators on earth.

Tremendous respect for Warren Buffet and the way he has raised his children regarding money!

Imagine a man like him running for President of the United States, it would have a huge positive impact on the global community
The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.

We already tried the synthetic toxic waste fertilizer substitute in the U.S. and farmers only recently realized how it depletes the land while destroying the water supplies. Organic farming and ranching together can provide the necessary fertilizer for a sustainable result.

The humility of this family is heartwarming. As an aside: I can remember when when Berkshire Hathaway stock sold for $15,000 a share. Man! Wish I'd bought a few shares back then...and that was NOT so long ago.

Love this man...hes a humble, hard working farmer...my kind of man !! I worked on farms, milking cows, chopping corn, etc... this is good honest work...& the people who do this work...are working man heros. I would love to be a philanthropist when I grow up...♡☆♡ I also drive truck, drilled wells, run equipment. ..so I really admire this man...♡☆♡ What's sad is...Bill Gates owns more farm land than Howard the farmer...I don't agree with Warren giving his wealth to another, unrelated already wealthy man...I think he should have left his children in charge of managing it...I am not a fan of Bill Gates getting favoritism over Warren ' s children...maybe the dumbest thing Warren ever did !!

I think you're mixing up Bill Gates' personal wealth vs. his charitable fund. So penalty, he's acquiring farmland as an investment and he can do what he wants with it. The charitable fund has a board that decideds how to give 5% of that fund every year. So image a $10B fund has to give away $500M per year. That's a lot of programs funded every year.
He is a very great man.
Good family 😎👍🏻👍🏻

Buffet is lying, he was 100% worried about Howard and he kind of kicked him out when he was young. He was very tough love parent and told Howard and the others he would not help them with money. Then Howard went into farming on his own, eventually begging dad for money. So Buffet gave him a loan of $100,000 to buy his own farm and equipment with strict loan repayments. Howard ended up being successful and their relationship slowly started to improve. Also that os Monsanto GMO corn it ruins soil. smh

Howard Buffet is doing the right thing for helping farmers in poor countries to learn new techniques or knowledge how to farm better and more productive. My dream one day soon is to go back home, retired and teach poor people English as a second language for free so that they can learn a second language in which it might open doors for them like working in "call centers" or something like that.
