Oh yeah i cosplay non anthro characters at cons and just the wigs feel AWFUL after like 30 minutes i could never do a full fursuit i know some people have like fans or ice pack type things tho that probably helps

Fun fact: Furries are human beings with feelings too 😱 Honestly I’m tired of everyone hating on furries. Y’all are fine with cosplayers but not with furries who are cosplayers with anthropomorphic characters (fursonas) instead. Close to none of furries are zoophiles, so Don’t even try to associate furries with that. Many different methods to stay cool in a fursuit, like cooling packs, cooling under armor, and fans that can be built into the fursuit head. It also depends on what type of fursuit it is, usually fullsuits(especially with padding) are the hottest, but partials (partials, because they are usually all the fursuit parts without the body) are a little less hot since not all of your body is covered in the suit. Hope this helps !

Okay but like this looks so fun. I like cosplay (I'm still figuring things out since I've only been doing it for a bit less than a year) and seeing the full costume/outfit/suit on your body is like the best thing ever. It makes you feel so confident and honestly, I would reccomend dressing up in some way to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. Sure you may be inside a hot sweaty fur suit but I'm sure you can say that it feels really freeing. I would reccomend it, even if you just get a jacket that looks kinda like the character you like. Also the suit looks ✨amazing✨.

I thought of getting a skunk fursuit for a horror theme. I have a book idea where the one of the main characters gets rabies and I thought a custom rabid skunk would look terrifying as hell.

Depends if there is no air brushing just put the thing in the washing machine on low heat and gentle (except the head) for the head you but a non water echsorbent material over the eyes like plastic wrap and hand wash it

Deodorant unfortunately doesn't work very well for me. I constantly stink even after showering or bathing and putting on deodorant multiple times a day. I just STINK NO MATTER WHAT.

Ok, as a person who dislikes most fursuits for either being too creepy or too "You wake up and your coffee tastes way off. You decide to bake later and found all the sugar is gone and no onr is talking about it" I really like this one. Cute, but not too cute.

A tip from putting on one piece bike leather that transfers well to any other one piece item. Get the smooth shiny type under armour or compression gear, it helps everything slide on better.
