Great discussion. I have been in the USA since 96 and i can relate to your husband. I am not happy as i was in Ghana. I am comfortable here and was in Ghana but i miss my freedom.

She was confused with “the wall” thing because what you mean is a fence. Not a wall😂😂😂

Interesting. You were blessed to be in the USA at a time where there were many kids from African households.

Awesome 👌🏾 video bro am watching stomp the yard right now thanks for mentioning it 👍🏾 Bro you should know that is colonialism system affects Ghanaians in so many ways our school system is brain washing and indoctrinated curriculum system that's why our teacher's and society act and behave that way

He meant no fence round the compound, its like that in most villages in Africa, compounds are unfenced. ts in cities houses are fenced round for privacy, security

I remember back in the day in NY in the 1980's, Erasmus HS was the worst...I can identify with Rush's experiences...I remember a lot of shootings in the streets and at parties, but things have calmed down since. Thankfully, my supportive wife and I will be moving to Ghana very soon....hopefully, we will meet you guys at some point. Great video...thanks for sharing.👍🏾

This was such a great video! I'm overwhelmed with nostalgia. @ Clara you ask the all the right questions, & you're like really pretty. @ Rush I'm so sorry you were bombarded with our drastic cultural difference. Fortunately, your dad was right. You got this! Big ups to you guys from New York - Sincerely your slimmest fan :)
