THANK YOU! bcuz of your videos, I made the switch from Aseprite to Krita for my pixel art. prior to my switch, I was using Krita for basically everything else, but i adopted parts of your workflow and parts of my Aseprite workflow and found something that works well enough for me to get the same quality in Krita but with better management than Aseprite

you can also make tweens in krita with animation curves and transform mask. just saying in case if you didn't know it.

How do I tell youtube that I love this video. Liking doesnt feel like enough. I saved to a playlist but damn the process tips here are so inspiring. Ive been avoiding working because im not really interesting in coloring or pallettes but youve introduced me to a way to go about it that doesnt feel tedious and frustrating.

Could you do a tutorial where you take an AI generated painting and transform it to pixel art using HD index painting? I would be curious how that turned out.

I didn't even know this word HD index painting with a bit of youtube search I see videos about it as old as 8 years ago, and I always collect art & color correction guides, what else I might found interesting?

This is outdated information already with generative software that automates indexation like Pixelover - which also includes timelines and bone animation even. You should check it out.

Thanks for the recommendation! I wouldn't say "Outdated". Pixelover is a software that has these techniques in an "easy-to-use" package, which is great! But it is not an art-software per say (to create art "from scratch"), meaning, you have to use it alongside Krita, Blender, Photoshop, etc; There is nothing wrong with a workflow using multiple tools! The bone animation and the 3d rendering of Pixelover are indeed awesome! The ability to preview these effects/techniques WHILE drawing from scratch is a +1 for me. Also I find it easier to do final per-pixel adjustments when you are already using a full-fledged art software.
