Rodiger will never be on bench at all. Look at his defenses work against Man City and Bayern in the UCL, very solid.

Obviously it’s Mbappe on the Center with Vini and Rodrygo on the wings. Just as obviously, that is only the standard formation. These guys will move around all game popping up in the Center and on both wings throughout the game just like the BBC used to do. Marking them will be a nightmare

Ancelotti already has announced that he will go back to the 4-3-3. Mbappé has to play in the center of this front three, because they wont bench Vini. Bringing in Trent would be huge but I dont think its realistic. They might need to sign a replacement for Kroos though. Dont get me wrong, they are stacked with world class central midfielders, but non of them really has the profile and quality of Kroos. If they have a chance to sign Rodri, they should go for him.
