I believe she was born and raised in Scotland, and developed her posh accent at boarding and drama schools.

She is Scottish her father is the chief of Clan Leslie so actually super Scottish but that also means quite posh which explains the accent.

She is Scottish in real life but she went to boarding school growing up. Her family are very wealthy and own the castle that she and kit got married in

So she was born and raised in Aberdeenshire. In general outside of Doric eastern Scottish accents tend to be softer than their central belt counterparts, especially among the middle and upper classes and fade more easily if spending significant time among English people. I can testify to this as moved to London from Aberdeen 16 years ago and my accent now is best described as west London Aberdonian.

Fed up with seeing Surrane jones face on tv. She is a not a great actress, there is much more talented out there, but sadly they will not get the chance as they use the same actors over and over.
