I met Weird Al back in the late 80s or early 90s and asked him what he studied in college. He told me that it was architecture, but that once he’d graduated he found that most architects were stuck designing cookie cutter spec homes and that any real design work had gone by the wayside, so he decided to go all in on music as that was already gaining enough traction that he saw it as a viable option. What an interesting guy… and at at least 6’2” he was a lot taller than I thought he might be from seeing him on TV.

Weird Al is an exception, and a damm good one at that.

I’ve seen Al live 3 times and every show has been great. Legend.
