Balboa Bars are an absolute must every time we go there. I grew up trying every imaginable combo. The first one I had I was about 4 or 5.

Love the beach side walkway during Christmas. That area goes all out along with the boat parade.

Balboa Island in Newport Beach looks really original and fun. I love all the murals on the walls and they pay homage to many famous people. Your vlogs are so calming and informative for me, they take away a lot of negativity that I experience. The boardwalk on Balboa Island is so cool with a nice pathway for pedestrians. I would love to visit Newport Beach sometime and I've heard so many great things about it. Thank you for bringing happiness to my life and I continue to watch your channel!!

I’ve been to Balboa Island before. My family and I rode the ferry to the island, and we had frozen bananas while also exploring the shops in the area.

My mom's cousin owns a beach house right on the beach in Balboa Island.

Well, it's official. BLAB is now our travel guide. We're planning on going to California to visit my sister in late summer....and while we can't afford Disneyland, Spencer's rundown of "things to do outside the Parks" and this video, we're making a steady list!

It reminds me a little bit of the small Jersey shore towns. The balboa bar looked so good. Wish I had one now. Made me a little sad. Sugar and Spice was the name of our departed corgis. Miss them. Besides that was a great video.

willma's on Ballboa is the place to eat all the locals eat at Willma's. It is my go-to place to eat.

Our family vacations back in the 60s were always on the Peninsula a block from the ferry and Fun Zone. There was a frozen banana stand there too. Banana Roll A Rama. lol

You mentioned Tam O’Shanter….have you done a video from there? If not would you be able to? I have always wanted to go there but never make it when I am down south. Thx

I have been to Balboa since I was an infant and I love the Balboa bars they are the best! And walking around the island is so nice. When we were little my siblings and I would swim in the bay with our dad. I personally like Dads better on the Balboa bars.

Ok, a couple of things I have to point out. 1) cheese cake is gross! I know there is alot of ppl in here that will probably disagree and 2) that Balboa Bar looked really good! I think I will have to go there just for that. Thanks for sharing the awesome adventure BestLife. Love ya guys!

Nice video. Also try the Sugar Shack in Huntington Beach, downtown Seal Beach and then make your way to Belmont Shores.

Balboa Bars are amazing, but the Frozen Bananas & the Hippo Cookies are the BOMB at Dad's. There have been times I've driven from HB over to DAD'S just for HIPPO COOKIES!
