Let me tell you as a Chinese native speaker, I wouldn’t be able to tell that she is not a Chinese native if I heard her talking. She speaks with a local Chinese accent and the fluency is on fire.

I like their attitude towards each other, how graceful, patient he is towards her and allows her to be herself and blossom. A lot of people can really learn from this couple. Love and true humanity has truly no borders! ❤🙏💕

We have lots of local languages in Africa but English is the most common language. Those of us from Anglophone African countries, English is our lingua franca. That is the medium of instruction in school and all exams are written in English. So that is why she can speak pretty well thanks. Thanks

​@@CJ-jp3zw How unfortunate. By the time a child is 5 they can speak at least 2 languages. Most Africans speak 3-4 languages. It could be 2 European languages and local/ mother tongue and a regional one. Because she's Ugandan she probably speaks Swahili which is the the regional language of East Africa as well.

I was smiling so hard for the whole video!! His cousin deserves all the first picks of fruits, veggies, meat, sweets, etc forever 😂 She knew you both would like each other.

I showed her videos to my China friends living here in Europe and they were amazed at how fluent her mandarin was and they said she speaks with typical local accent. But I must say that Rose’s husband is a very sweet guy too.

I absolutely love you guys. I'm from Canada- I'm mixed race Chinese ukrainian! My mom immigrated to Canada and met my dad and then they got married and had me and my brother. But she didn't have time to teach me or my brother mandarin and truthfully we visited China a lot when we were younger and I could pick up the language really well in china versus here in Canada. I hope to live in China for a decade so I can actually speak the language of my ancestors! Much love from canada!

I feel this kind of content and video is better than those who play pranks on their partners. These videos show true life real-life situations and how the different cultures interact and get along with each other. It reduces on the stereotypical ideas about each other's cultures. This couple was literally unable to communicate, but they managed to get through and got along so well, today, couples get married have kids get into arguments which is a normal part of marriage get divorced a year later because they don't have good communication , i bet rose struggled a lot early on , but she managed and learned how to cope and make changes to fit in , and in the end her marriage blossomed, patience and willingness to make things work is key

I lived in Uganda for 2 years and loved it. My house was in Lubowa and my place of work was in Entebbe. I also supported a young man through high school and hoped he would go to college but that was not his plan. Wish you luck with this new project.
