Well yeah, they changed the muffler and removed one of the THREE resonators. They might not make it quieter but they get rid of certain sound frequencies so in a way they do.

Sounds much better with the flowmaster super 50 than the first exhaust setup 💪

If the truck owner is happy, all is good. I would have done a true dual setup with SpinTech 5000 mufflers.

Why didn't he just straight pipe the muffler and leave the resonator??

He should change it to a true dual, dual x-pipes, and 4" or 5" quad tips, with a pair of bottle-type glasspack mufflers. He'll get the sound he's looking for. I guarantee it.

I have one of these trucks and I really want to do something like this for the exhaust in the future but I think I’m gonna put glass packs on because I really really want to hear that V8 roar

That is weird. I put a super 50 with no resonator on my 2016 F150 5.0 and it was loud as hell! I ended up putting the factory resonator back on to get it back to an acceptable volume (and drone level). I can't believe that thing is so quiet. I later swapped to a regular 40 series style 2 chamber and it was only barely louder than the super 50.

I have a super 44 with a single in and dual out configuration and no resonator. I don't have any drone inside my truck and it sounds great outside. Other than the cold start, i'm surprised how quiet the setup is.

😎🤙⁉️❓I feel that he should’ve probably went with the bigger piping through and through from header to tail pipe at least a three or 3 1/2 inch choice of muffler should have been #Backwidow #Spintech #Coffin #Pipes brand with baffles tail pipes.

Ohh no they made it sound like a small v6😂! I've tried a 40 series flowmaster and a super 10 on my tundra 5.7 l weak sound just drone .Finally did what these guys did to one removed the dam muffler and put in a $22 x pipe to clean up rasp..sounds awsome!! Deep no drone nice and loud

The problem is that 50 series, those are just way to quite, super 44 or 40 series would be louder, or if yoi really want it screaming get the super 10

I would take the resonator off the back n put high-flow cats on it. It would really growl then. I like how mellow the super50 is but its still aggressive.

Imagine having a V6 or turbo 4 in a muscle car

I would’ve done a Black Widow Venom 250 shorter muffler and 3”. Or a Carven Muffler.

Swing and a miss😮. Round two was a little better. By got raspy and broke up when revved. ☹️

There's 2 big mufflers right past the manifolds you gotta get out of there for it to sound good. 😜

The problem is the with these giant trucks there's like 18ft of pipe so they're only gonna be so loud regardless.

dudes will put one of the biggest tamest mufflers on their vehicles and then have the audacity to say "ItS nOt loUd eNoUgN". You can usually just delete the muffler or swap the muffler for a much smaller muffler and keep the stock resonator on and it'll usually sound glorious on most platforms the resonator is a big factor but it doesn't make you louder but just cleans up the sound and kills annoying resonance hence the name. this truck sounds good with everything but the 50 series but he could've done this way cheaper and more effective.

Not sure why people go with Flowmaster. Always sounds bad imo.

Super 10 with the resonator in place still would have been what he was looking for. Super 50 series is just too quiet

Muffler delete

Too quite. I’ve never been a fan of the 50 series. It needs 3” true dual with no resonators Magnaflow Magnapacks, X-pipe, 4” tips.

He need put it on the side be louder

New Fords look awesome, but they sure ain't what they used to be.. that thing will be lucky to make it to 150,000 miles
