Augmented Reality is a powerful tool, and the best part is that this video is in the realm of possibility. In fact, I could just make this on Lens Studio and turn this into a playable Snapchat filter if I wanted to. The only thing stopping me - legal stuff.

Now we need Super Mario Bros. in AR. I'd love to see that.

Watching this was so trippy and cool at the same time. I would love if something like this was actually released in VR and made a reality. Someone needs to take this idea and make it real. I'd be playing this all and every day. Awesome job, this is out of this world.

I actually prefered the GameBoy version of Donkey Kong 😅 I always used my SuperGameboy to play it on my old tv 💭 It gave it color

@@retrohead I've seen it as well :) This DK game would also look so cool using the Lenovo AR glasses I have(star wars one's)🤓 or the Quest 2 in passthrough mode/side loaded. I wonder if you just rendered it or used some kind of AR for it?!? Pretty sweet :) I wish Nintendo would release AR glasses with games like this. I could get behind that. You could also release your own version of this for an existing platform out there. People would pay for stuff like this for sure.

This is amazing, I'm subbed. I was actually looking for Augmented Reality games to see if I can find a game with AI battles that I can do on my desk but I'm glad I found this channel. Really enjoying watching these and you did great job with creating the games on AR. It looks so alive!

@@YowLife I liked it too, as a kid....I even liked Pac Man & ET (2600 versions) too.. but back then merely being able to control something on the TV was mind blowing. Simpler time. We were more accepting of wonky home games. But yea for what it's worth DK was a playable port.. so was Q*Bert

very interesting , imagine jumping into vr where you change your surroundings , IE a million dollar home ,invite your friends and all are hangin out and talking to each and also playing retro games that come to life. like the example shown above. give it another 5 to 10 years. will need high bandwidh , faster computers , and AI computing behind the scenes

This is cool and I could definitely see this existing in the future, but I feel like it'll probably end up being a gimmick to play 2D games in AR, you just wouldn't gain anything over playing on a 2D screen. After a while I'd imagine people might only use their AR for retro stuff if they didn't have a small screen around to use

Eesh, even when I was a kid... I took the 2600 as it was (and was actually NOT a 2600 game i owned, and we owned quite a bit 2600 games)..., but the Colecovision version was so much better... it even came with the system!
