We know this food is expensive guys, we are fully aware of the amount of money we spend to keep our dogs healthy and happy. Nyi and Dro also eat this food. We make it a priority to give all our dogs the best food for them that we could find, and this includes all the puppies. I also know it's a lot of steps but it's worth it to us to have healthy pups!!! We are trying to give them the BEST start to life possible as we believe this is a very important time in their lives! So we will do whatever it takes to give them that!!!

Orijen is one of the best brands out there though! My cats used to get the cat food from them all the time. We still use grain-free brands for the cats but we vary which ones we use now.

NyiDro Bloodlines im confused you only feed them once a day and not until 1 in the afternoon? omg my baby pit is 7 weeks and eats 1 1/2 cups a day and I break the feedings up. like am, afternoon, dinner and a snack.. MINE would be howling if he wasnt feed until 1in the afternoon lol.. Great diet though. i dont care how much thwur food costs YOU ppl need to be feeding your dogs like this..or a simular way..

Niki Gurle difference is your puppy is 7 weeks old and weaned these puppies were still nursing on mom they didn't need to be fed more than once a day at the time because mom took care of their other meals.

U put in so much effort it makes me so happy !!

I find it so dumb when people feed pedigree or purina and then buy a bunch of stuff to mix in because they complain about price. If you feed higher quality food all of those benefits will already be in the kibble (esp the brand used in the vid) and the kibble + supplements end up being the same price if not more than the orijen bc theyre having to feed a lot more of the food and supplements

I give my puppy a brand of dog food called American Journey Grain Free which is not as good as Orijen but they just don't sell that at the pet stores where I live but it is also great quality and then I mix in a 96% meat canned dog food from Merricks grain free instead of medallions and add coconut oil and hot water. This I know is healthy and great tasting for the dog but it angers me to see people feeding their puppies Ol Roy or Kibbles n Bits which is made from trash and then wonder why their dogs are obese and unhealthy

ohh the cow patch pup is adorable!

Pumpkin is very very good for dogs. Coconut oil is the same. I recommend both, along with a raw diet.

how can you feed them once a day? i feed my dogs 2 times a day and if they dont eat right away some of them start throwing up because they are hungry. i feed them one cup each in the morning and 1 cup each when i get off of work.

+Darrell Calhoun yup!! It is and is the most natural thing to help with constipation!! Most puppies get it when transitioning to solid foods but we havnt had that issue at all and I 100% believe it's because we give them the pumpkin and coconut oil!

We found these at Macy's but you can find them anywhere. They're just 9" round cake pans. You can find them at your grocery store, Walmart, Target, pretty much anywhere that sells baking stuff will have them.

+Antonio Black Thank you so much!! You can give the medallions by itself or with Orijens kibble with 10000% No issues. The thing about giving it to them with another kibble is you have to do your research on that subject and make your own decision as far as that goes. Basically Orijens dry food and their medallions are freeze dried raw meat so they are both not cooked. There is a lot of controversy going around about feeding (cooked) kibble with raw meat at the same feeding. Some people think it digests at separate times so it can create bacteria in their stomachs and mess their digestive tract all up. Other people say, yea it's possible, but dogs stomachs are MADE to be able to handle bacteria as in the wild they will eat raw meat that's been sitting out for 3 days so they'll be fine. Basically If you feed the medallions with other kibble that is not considered raw, you will technically be giving them raw food and cooked food together. You should just do your research on it to make that judgement call. After doing a lot of research on the subject, our opinion on it is that their bodies are made to handle it so you'll be fine but some people do say different. You'll ask 6 vets about it and 3 will say the same as us and the other 3 will tell you it's bad for them lol. No one truly knows I guess 😂😂😂

As long as the hard dog food was in the bowl with the water, wouldn't the dog food be sauggy? Also did they have liquid poop because of that food?

Im new to all this and my little ones are almost ready to go to their new homes. But when i was researching all this prior, I came to the conclusion that coconut oil that often isnt good? Im not trying to criticize, im trying to learn. lol I give it to mom and dad about once a week. Same with the pumpkin. But there isnt any problem pooping? I dont give them any more than what you give once a day. I just only give it to the once a week. I hear it gives them the runs.

Oh my goodness this explains a lot. I use organic coconut oil as a moisturizer for my hair and skin and my dog always licks my arms and stuff. I'll start giving her some lol
