I'm impressed that you have no bandaids on your hands working with sheet metal!! Good job!

My windows in my bus were made to sit in the window frame of the bus and 4 screws with resessed washer between each window top and bottom. After window removed frame comes apart and glass panes removed. Then I will insert plywood in two seperate channels in the frame where the glass panels were and the two panels are glued together and reenforced on the inside with metal strips. The installation will not be seen because a framed wall will be covering the deletes.

I used a similar method at Mywhite Skoolie. I used the frame to hold the sheet metal. extremely secured and water tight

Is that metal from the bus itself or is it something that you west and got. I’m getting ready to unskoolie mine and do it the way I want with less windows and a floor Lol

Thanks for watching. Yes, when we pulled the ceiling panels out, I cut that metal down to size and put it in the window frames. I totally understand having to do it over again.

It is holding up well. However we did have the whole interior spray foamed, as well. That helps.
