How we Defeated a Cheater | THE FINALS

Ойындар

In a typical ranked tournament, our team's comms are usually silly and goofy, but when we suspect a cheater in the lobby, that changes real quick. Today was one of those days, and in this round, we demonstrate some of our common practices when facing an aimbot user:
1. Play mostly inside buildings or areas with significant cover. This tip applies to most scenarios but is especially important against cheaters since they deal an unnatural amount of damage in such a short time.
2. Communicate enemy positions and movements clearly and frequently to avoid being caught off guard. Utilize the ping system whenever possible to mark locations and alert your teammates, but be cautious not to expose yourself for too long to avoid getting eliminated.
3. Utility is key. Abilities such as grenades, mines, turrets, and other area-denial tools can control the cheater's movement and limit their effectiveness. Additionally, cheats rarely protect the player or help destroy the gadgets, so use them as much as you can.
4. Focus fire on the cheater whenever possible, coordinating your attacks to overwhelm them quickly. Even if the cheater lands all headshots, most often they eventually have to reload, which is the perfect time to strike.
5. Stick together as a team to provide mutual support and revive each other if someone goes down. Huddle around the cashout station and make it difficult for the cheater to infiltrate your tight defense. A cheater is often so caught up in their own ego and kill count that they sometimes forget about the real objective.
6. Find the weakest link. Sometimes the better strategy is simply forcing the cheater to play alone by prioritizing their teammates. Look at the scoreboard to see if there's anyone low on respawn coins; focusing on that target and camping their body can nudge you a bit closer to a fair game.
7. It can be frustrating to play against cheaters, but maintaining a calm and focused mindset will help you perform better and make smarter decisions. Don't expect to win a match against a cheat, but don't let that tilt pull you down for the next couple of games. Reset and go again.
Overall, remember that the cheaters brain will always be smoother than yours; use that to your advantage and outplay them with your superior knowledge, game-sense and awareness. At last, report, report, report! If you suspect a cheater, even if it's only a gut feeling, don't hesitate to hit the report button. There is a text submission box for a reason: it's okay to just tell the devs that you're unsure.

Thank you, JonRIP! Comments like these really put a smile on my face. Hope you'll continue enjoying future videos. We're usually a full team of three (since the second beta), but when someone's offline, maybe we could make something happen. You play on PC, right?

All three! 😯 You don't happen to play on mobile, the switch and Samsung fridge as well? 😂 I think it would probably be tough for a console to keep up in a PC lobby so I'll add your PC account.
