Very nice build ,but your missing your shower 🚿 there then that. Yu did a great job. I'm just back from a 5200 mile 7 1/2 month trip in my 6x12 . Best trip ever fr me. San Diego California to the San Juan islands off the Northern Washington cast. Best t Yu ND ENJOY
Good job. I'm in the thinking process of doing a cargo conversion. I agree with your "keep it simple" philosophy.

Good job I'm a huge fan of simple that was the theme of my CTC build. I'm working on a 18 X 8.5 X 6.5 CT. I camp with it and work on it. I'm in North Carolina maybe we'll run into each other some time Have fun!!

Great simple setup for your mission. The expansion bars with curtains and nylon screen are a game changer for my ramp door opening. I always though about attaching a a boat bimini top on the cargo door floor. So it would make a fold out screen room.

Hey man, i like your setup. That gives me alot of ideas for a trailer in getting ready to build out. I have an 8x20 trailer with the ramp in back, and the side access door. You have a blessed day. "Keep on keepin on"

Looks good i like the use of peel and stick tiles. I tried them on my floor but when it gets hot inthe trailer they always come off. How do you deal with that? Thank you

We used cement glue as well. No problem with coming up.
It looks like we think alike and that you are one step ahead of me. I am exploring building a 6x12 cargo trailer camper, and I am also exploring getting a Coleman Rubicon like you bought instead of building a cargo camper. I am curious if you are satisfied with the Coleman vs the cargo camper (e.g., you cannot stand up in the Coleman and no inside kitchen and bathroom). I would also like to know your opinion between pulling the Coleman vs the cargo camper (wind resistance, MPG, etc.). Thank you for your time and opinion.

Downsized from class C motor home to cargo trailer to the rubicon. Here are our reasons. Now that we are empty nesters the rubicon works out best for us. We pull it with a hybrid ford maverick that gets 22 to 24 mpg. We don’t worry about not being able to stand up in it because we are outdoor campers. The trailer is only for sleeping and staying protected from the outdoor elements. As for a bathroom, we have a portable shower shelter tent with porta potty in it. For quick late night nature calls we keep a portable urinal inside the trailer. The 6 x 12 cargo conversion has a lot more room and we can sleep up to four people. We still have it for times when our grandson comes along. I am emotionally attached to that trailer because we built it ourselves. The Rubicon works best for us now because of the small size and maneuverability. Only takes up 12 feet of real estate and fits in most garages. Both of the trailers get a lot of attention from onlookers at the campgrounds we visit. As we get older less to have to deal with is best for us.

@@papacleveDIY Exactly the response I was hoping for. Thank you. That was excellent. Downsizing from bigger is what I am about. Minimalism. You are so helpful for me. I love your thinking.
