The most optimal strategy has been found out. Turtlelaggs did a video on it. Shields and reflecting damage to shields as true damage is the key.

Yes I’ve tried the same steps you shared since I learnt about them somewhere else and it indeed works! Managed to finish 1st in rank and cleared all 20 floors for the first time 🎉 . The must have shields are health shield, verdict shield, chained shield and verdict shield. Crests to have are sanctuary, fortitude which are the most impt. Warmth & guard are great ones to include but I usually reset if I don’t get those 2 crests or at least 2 of the shields halfway thru the stages.

You won't believe this ! I was doing a run & opened up my browser to look for a guide for those pesky late stages. Your vid was literally the first one on my Yt homepage ! Hah the algorithm is a fkn mid reader I swear. The timing of this is insane!

yes there is still a lot of luck needed to clear floor 20, you need the right crest combo and also avoid certain teams

Which relic does verdict shield belong to? You never say if it's from defense relic or hp relic or attack relic etc.

it is from vitality relic for sure, but it could also be from hp (fortitude), that's why the recommendation is to always select vitality relics if they are offered, and hp relics after that if possible

I have tried like 20 times but I can never get the correct combination of crests, cursed RNG

Finally got it after 30 tries but then i met Igor at floor 17 and he just does not die..

yes it's tough and will be based on luck if you can get all the shield crests needed for this, but it's fun to try this every week and see if you get the luck needed to clear floor 20, otherwise floor 17 clear is honestly really good

@@PuzzleAFKJ Luckily I had Odie with me so I put him in instead of Damien and cleared it. Made it to floor 20 :D

My floor 18 was 3 Silvinas and 2 Cecia and the silvina were just too high power that they just 1 shot everything and I didn’t have Brutus in my lineup

oh that sucks, yes I've seen that floor and it is one of the hardest because you can't counter that much raw damage
