    Bucket - Home Depot Pool Noodle - measure to fit bucket diameter; slice down the middle; secure ends with tape, press down onto rim Regular grocery bags: drape under pool noodle: noodle secures it. Kitty Litter: add a small amount to absorb urine & solids. I usually tied, removed & put aside until next visit to trash area. Less fear of accidental spillage due to absorbent kitty litter. I also found a brand new medical commode at Goodwill for under $10!!! Same set up with grocery bags & kitty litter. Great for Hurricane prep essentials.

    Only video i seen so far that showed us how to get rid of the shit... 😅😅😅 i have about 3 in my cart and not sure how it would work, my concerns were if the poo is too firm and big how will it pass through the curved hose lololol or if its too soft and then stuck on the inside walls how do we know for sure the inside is really cleaned cause its not transparent. But maybe HOT WATER AND VINEGAR may do that trick and some baking soda. I think its gets a bit heavy though. wondering if like the kiddies potty training toilet could work since its collapses and not suspicious lol, kitty litter and bags may do it and just dump it in skits after

    Adding bleach to your toilet defeats the purpose of using happy camper. The bleach water will kill the natural bacteria in the happy camper, which breaks down the waste.

  • @azeria7551

    @azeria7551

    Жыл бұрын

    It doesnt kill bacteria immediately, you can research the specifics but waste bacteria from fecal matter takes a few hours to properly clean out completely.

    I've seen comments that bleach could deteriorate the toilet's rubber seals. So my question is how long you've been using bleach and whether you've experienced issues with seals since using bleach? Thanks in advance.

  • @zakandfal

    @zakandfal

    5 ай бұрын

    Hey! Thanks for your question. We've really only cleaned the toilet a grand total of 6 times or so, but never experienced any leakage with the seals! Where we put the bleach was basically into the plastic holding container at the bottom, where theres really not any rubber around. We always had a lot of water in there too to dilute the bleach. Hope this helps!

  • @zakandfal

    @zakandfal

    2 ай бұрын

    Hey Lori, so every once in a blue moon, yeah, you can get a bit of poo on the top slider bit, but it should be ok, especially if you add the flushing water into the bowl first before you go! Also, we tried as little as possible to use it if we could, if we could use real plumbing in a public place. We can go as long as maybe a month (with two of us) only using this for poos. We tried really hard to pee outside. But often we could go 3-6 months without cleaning it out because we used it so seldomly.

    I'm wondering if the toilet with the moving spout easier than the one with just the wide mouth? I'm afraid i might get backsplash with the huge mouth but I'm afraid stuff may get clogged and go out to slow with the spout like showed in the video.

  • @zakandfal

    @zakandfal

    Hey! This is the only type of toilet we've ever tried. We never experienced backsplash because the hole to dump is usually larger than the spout of the toilet. Hope this helps!
