How we built the best bale spear ever! Super Spear 2.0!

How we built the best bale spear ever! Super Spear 2.0! We built our own quick attach hay spear our Tractor! Not just any new bale spikes either, our bale spikes are completely customizable in the aspect that we can set our new bale spikes up for picking up one bale or we can set our new bale spikes up to pick up two bales safely. We have fabricated our new bale spikes to be adjustable by simply removing two pins. This allows our new bale spikes to be used to pick up pallets, a single bale or two bales with our loader! Check it out and see the bale spikes we fabricated for our loader for yourself in the video! But wait, there's more! Thank you Sargn't for supporting our Nation made products, and your service to The People! Every town needs a blacksmith, every human needs Salvation through Jesus Christ. Wisdom is a blessing earned by few... everyone has too much unusable knowledge. ☝️😉👍

It’s funny I have 6 welders and my go to for quick welds in the shop is the same Lincoln buzz box you use. Thanks for sharing.

just a thought but i think a pin in top would keep the end from dropping as the top pin would make the bottom tube bow in to the main frame while the pin in bottom will let the top bow out under load ( i just welded the hitch on a big wheel rake that had 8 grade 8 bolts in it and only the bottom 2 were holding and sprung 2 1\2 in plates (never got them back completely)) other than that like the build!!!!!! :)

We just got done using these to collect all of our hay from first cut a couple weeks ago, loaded and unloaded around 220 bales with no issues at all. Youll see the video next week on here. I'll be honest too, I didn't even put the pin in on either side because I forgot to pick some up😂 the ends still never came out and didn't bow at all. They are made from 3x3 tuning with 1/4" wall and are very stout but I believe you are correct and a top pin would be more practical due to how weight would pull it down. Thanks for commenting and hope you stick around to see the video of it in action!

Very nice! We found one for $100 for the skid steer, I couldn't build it that cheap so I jumped on that deal. But we use the tractor to move and stack bales too so needed one for it

That is a neighbors that needs a head gasket or engine swap done to it. We haven't gotten around to it yet. Soon hopefully we will. I dont really have a use for a loader honestly so likely won't be buying one anytime soon.

I have an Allis Chalmers 8030 two-wheel drive with duals, Allis Chalmers 8010 mfwd I think they are both a 1:10 scale. They are bigger ones. I used to have several others as a kid but they were John Deere and I played with them as a kid but as I grew up I just wanted Allis equipment. I also have a couple 1:64 scale Allis Chalmers WD, WD 45, D17, and a 190xt. Do you collect them?
