It was so light and bright when it was white it made me nervous when you started painting it dark! I still prefer the lighter but it’s stunning. Awesome work.

Great job 👏 One trick I like to do when sanding is to put a 20 x 20 inch air filter to the intake side of a cheap 20-inch box fan. Just let it run (especially overnight), and it really helps keep the air clean.

I'm commenting as someone who just got super-inspired. You answered all questions to a "T" within the blog page. Your space looks amazing. cliqStudios is in Georgia near me. I am building a murphy bed, in my office within a bookcase builtin with a desk that swivels in an out on an "L". I have been extremely nervous to start with the bed, because of choosing plywood types and etc. Your detailed video gave me the kick-start I needed, I will be using butcher block for the counters, but want the wood look. Thank you again.

Great job! I'd love the place and think you did a pretty good job even thought I don't like the color you chose. One suggestion: when you record with your cell phone make sure is in the horizontal /landscape position so you get a bigger size of the screen so when we watch your videos we could appreciate the video instead of the 2 black side panels all the time

What cilour is that paint pliiiiiiiz im inlove. Been contemplating painting walls, trim, doors all same colour and you jus convinced me to do it. Love love loooooove. Dark and moody office is my fav 👌

An observation on removing the skirting board (baseboard) in the US and UK: In US videos it comes of cleanly leaving a neat looking timber stud wall…. Whereas in the UK it rips out with he’s effort, bringing with it big chunks of plaster and masonry, leaving a filthy uneven mess of 100 years of brick, plaster and random nails 😂

How do you shim the back right corners of the cabinets?

Love the look! How did you fasten the bookcases to the wall so they don’t topple over? Are they fastened to the wood countertops at all?

Thanks!!! The bookcases are glued to the countertop and secured to the side walls (into studs) and also at the top (there is blocking that these are screwed into). These puppies are not going ANYWHERE. :)

Great build! really came out nice. What kind of moulding/trim is that at 13:34 to about 13:47 ? I want something similar for a board and batten wall I am going to install and can't figure out what kind of moulding that is.

How tall are the base cabinets? 30"? I considered a kitchen cabinet for the base but it might be too high. Yours look great.

How did you connect the lights? I never saw electrics wired to the top

Where is your ceiling medallion from and what size

Building the boxes were too much ... instead, cut the same depth of a bunch of 2x4 blocks will do the trick.

Absolutely fabulous. Just wondering with a decent size room along with plenty of natural light why didn’t you paint the ceiling a similar/same color as the cabinets and walls?
