@ryanlemons no, they are almost at 1 Million subs :) Its a big deal in the RC world. Only a few have reached this goal... I believe they will be the 3rd RC channel to reach this great milestone

A dual motor setup on the tank would be cool and easier to drive.

You need to mount a remote turret with a airsoft gun for self defense on the tank. Give the beast a chance to defend itself against the A-10.

Yes, I do think that the A-10 firing Airsoft projectiles is different, because it is even dumber than this idea. The general public is not going to see, or hear about an Airsoft mounted to a toy airplane. What they are going to see and hear is, individual mounts gun to RC airplane.

This is officially the least bullet proof tank in the history of tanks.

Not always a problem. A good counter against most modern tank shells, because they will just pass right through without detonating. You might even be able to fire an RPG-7 straight through without it detonating.

In WWII the Americans made Blow Up Balloon Tanks to fool the Germans into thinking the Allies were staging equipment in the wrong parts of England. They had Balloon Tanks, Trucks and Artillery pieces.

You guys are doing amazing things. This tank is incredible. The sound the a-10 made when it crashed was scary.

Glad you guys are doing it this way! I served in the Army. My first MOS was (at the time) 63E, M1 Abrams Hull Systems Mechanic. ( i reclassed to another MOS.... that i hated ) I absolutely loved that tank. It was an amazing machine. I like your adaptation... a blend of many models. No. I love it. Wonderful!

Just have to balance it with equal weight on the opposite side. Of course that would make it extra heavy. Would be a good challenge!

Great explanation on breaking an object down to it's basic shapes to help create a design. As a seasoned mechanical design engineer I claim to draw squares and circles. An exciting day is when I get to draw a polygonal. And this was the first video to break my heart showing the crashed warthog. Great work guys.

I can't wait to see what the future of Flite Test looks like! Keep it up! P.S. how probable is it for a random college nerd to get a job at FT over the summer?

Jan J. Haha! Without "Telling" on myself, I tested lots of different rounds (.17 caliber up to 155 mm "Big'uns"!) Haha! The ones that I really did NOT like to deal with, where the D.U. rounds (Depleted Uranium). I, and my guys, had to wear a Dosimeter at all times, and check the "little fancy box with the alarms going off all the time" (Geiger Counter) when handling and testing them. As the Gov't. says: 'They were tested; They were effective'....! Haha! (Oh, I almost forgot..! I tested the AMRAAM, Sparrow, Hawk, TOW 2-B, Patriot, and Phoenix Missiles --- They were "EFFECTIVE", too!) Haha! Everything that went "BOOM" over in Desert Storm in '91, had to "go across my desk", before it was sent. (I had a fun job, back then...!) Haha!

I CHALLENGE YOU GUYS TO MAKE AN RC PLANE COMPLETELY OUT OF POP CANS!!!!!!!!!!! accept for the motor or motors esc servos etc but body completely out of pop or soda cans come on do it you did one outta a damn pizza box do soda cans

Off subject, but I was wondering if you could create a flying wing that's also a biplane or triplane. Just for grins. :p

Don't know if I'm more excited to see the A10 shoot the tank or see the tank fly. Both will be epic.

OK you guys need to build an improved version on the Drive On channel, that doesn't get shot at. Or build two 1/2 the size of this one and maybe coat them in something to armor them against airsoft pellets so you can mount guns in the cannons and shoot the chalk pellets at each other, lol. Also how was the crash that loud? Did a battery blow up?

Why are you blaring about its missile system? I'm talking about the fact that it isn't historically accurate that an A-10 would fire anything at all against an Abrams on the battlefield, considering both vehicles are made by the US.
