Our Rich Journey - How to Become a Millionaire with Index Funds | Vanguard, Schwab, & Fidelity: If you're familiar with our FIRE journey, you know that a large part of our FIRE success is due to investing in index funds. Several months ago, we did a video on VTSAX (a Vanguard index fund). We got so many questions from that video and so much interest in index funds, we decided to do an in-depth video on index funds. So . . . in this video, we dive more into our discussion on index fund investing. We talk about the history of the index fund, why the index funds was originally created back in 1975, we share index funds we invest in, and we share our top picks for index funds with Vanguard, Schwab, and Fidelity. Thanks for watching!

    PACIFIK Yes, and you also have the nerve of some people rejecting marriage!!!! I’ll immediately point to this couple or another KZread channel called Black, Married, and Debt free and say how do you explain this, if marriage is so awful if marriage is against the man and only benefits the woman or black people shouldn’t be married.

  • @enigmathegrayman2953

    @enigmathegrayman2953

    4 жыл бұрын

    PACIFIK There is a direct correlation with marriage and wealth, marriage is a business and it is about dealing with others (your partner) and combining your resources to accomplish even greater things than can be done individually. This channel is all about NOT being the norm when you really think about it.

  • @enigmathegrayman2953

    PACIFIK With all due respect I choose not to carry on this topic, those that don’t or can’t deal in a meaningful and productive relationship can live their lives, and folks who choose to build and forge a strong marriage and family will not worry about how much of a outlier they are, but rather just continue to build.✌🏿

  • @cocor.3653

    @cocor.3653

    PACIFIK I think a part of what the OP didn’t elaborate on with marriage is business. I’m sorry but it drives me crazy when people say “why do you need the government involve to show your commitment” you don’t but you know what? If you wanna make it easier to be financially independent with the person you love and committed to it really only make sense to get married. There’s so many tax advantages, credit advantages and so on that you are granted when you’re “legally binded”. Of course it comes with risk but so does every single major decision you make in life. People like this, as the OP said, aren’t worried about the other people who more times than not get into relationships and/or marriages for the wrong reason. People like this are focused on themselves and what they need to do to benefit them and their family/legacy. I find it hard to really talk about marriage at times b/c as much as people want to talk about the divorce rate no one wants to talk about all the broken, toxic, selfish, codependent people who are more times than not the ones who complain and get divorced. 70% of couples never even try marriage or couples counseling before splitting and then go on blaming the other partner or marriage itself when really it was a combination of the type of people I just mentioned. And btw I’m a happily married woman of almost 8 years. I’ve just spent my fair share of time with unhappily married women (not intentionally but when trying to make mom friends that comes out) and it’s frustrating. I want more like minded friends for myself, my husband and especially our kids. Kids from broken toxic homes mimic those behaviors of their parents and I don’t blame them, it’s the parents but it’s hard to have my children around them because they do a lot of things that are not acceptable to my husband and I and most people don’t want to hear what they can do better in their lives/parenting so I quietly bow out of those relationships.
