I had worked on the Proton accelerator at Loma Linda Hospital, was offered a job on this. Went to Waxahachie and toured the tunnel, amazing to see. Was excited to move, went back to Calif to pack, congress pulled the funding and ended the project. Thankfully before I sold my house

normal average Joe's were disappointed when this happened... No one alive today in Ellis county could imagine how much this would have changed Ellis county for the better and even the state of Texas.

Remember working with a company doing Geotech in the general area. a I remember seeing the sites where they were sinking the shafts for access to the loop. What we saw was pretty impressive and they seemed to be working day and night. This was back around 92 or so

I bought some Quikdraft paper off this guy at a garage sale back in 1996 around the Waco area that shows a map of the place they were going to start building the SCC, that and a number of news clippings when the land purchase went through and the proposal budget, no idea what the guy did for a living but probably one of the many workers on the project.

today average people with "billions" go into space (from Texas!).. Today ours would be 3x's larger than Switzerland's, its Texas! That's the problem with folks from elsewhere. I admit they have big hearts but little brains. In TEXAS we have big hearts and well.. "you know.'
