I appreciate the sentiment but leaving before MCR is a sin

It was a pretty good festival for being the first one. Hopefully next year they improve on some of the issues from the first but overall, worth it. I went with two my best friends, every band put on an amazing show and got to see MCR live for the first time. Definitely one of the best memories for sure.

First I must apologize for missing your video yesterday I know you worked hard on it now I must say that looked like one heck of a good time with such great bands and I’m so happy you were able to go backstage man I’m jealous but the way I look at it good people deserve good things that way you got the gift of heaven backstage now I must say if i could go back in time i would so love to go to the 1969 Woodstock Festival to hang with the awesome hippies but not to do drugs or drink but to see all the awesome performers just say I’m a hippie at heart love the music of the 60s & 70s like good old Jefferson Airplane so thanks so much for a day at a great Festival now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you and I’ll see you on the next awesome video peace ☮️ out ✌️

Did not realize Davey was in the middle of transforming into Spock. Jimmy Eat World still sounds AMAZING. Bleed American holds up as one of the best records of its time. Looks like a ton of fun overall! Thanks for sharing with us!

AFI almost put me to sleep compared to the other bands. And yes, I agree on the Spock correlation 100%

I was there, I just had to be a part of what I thought was going to be a once in a lifetime show for me. Went to see AFI, ...just got back from seeing them in Philly too!

The best weekend I've ever had

So modern. Back in my day Day on the green in Oakland was our music festivals. I did see Led Zeppelin right up front but I was a young gal. Could never do that now lol need my vip comfy seat😂

Me and GF drove from STL MO to the Sunday show, worth every penny. Wind wasnt bad that day i thought. It was the only place blink182 played in the us after i was late to the news of the OG 3 together. 3 weeks notice and rooms were a pain to find. But sooo worth it. Wish the pain wasnt so bad id had stayed for green day. Laid on that green for Lit's last song My worst enemy and it was sublime with a j to share with my gf!

Going to sick new world next month. Glad i watched your video. Wonder if i can upgrade my tickets, its gonna be packed AF.

That's awesome! Never thought I'd see someone from the Disney community covering these kind of events! I love rock ever since I was a kid like 9-10 years old. Would love to go to a festival like this. Out of all the bands that played there, my #1 favorite is Bring Me The Horizon (by far), followed by The All-American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, Story Of The Year and Paramore.

I was excited to see MCR, but left disappointed by the performance. Enjoyed several of the bands on the Stripe and Checker stages.

Saturday the 29th was magical

Wow thanks for sharing. I can see why people were saying I was lucky I went on the 29th. No wind made a huge difference. Bought my ticket for next year. VIP is a must.

@ratkid4560 I go alone so VIP is easier to get around. Plus they have charging stations for my phone. I also get better views. The entrance doesn't bother me since I go early.

Last time I went to a concert like that it was Deftones and Alice In Chains back in 2009 I remember watching A grown man was cry

What a coincidence, the only band I have heard is Jimmy Eat World, a local favorite. Ever listen to Jim Atkins’ smoother recordings? Great guitar work.

Despite the issues for Saturday's show, it was LEGIT. The venue would not have been safe for how windy it was. Our plane leaving from Detroit on Saturday was actually delayed to leave because of the wind in Vegas. I had an amazing time though. I saw all the bands I wanted to see, and then some, and got a good view despite a GP ticket.

Next year is going to be fucking awesome!!!!!!

I went through a pop-punk phase in my early 20s from 1999-2004ish. All of my favorites from that time were at this show (which I didn't attend). Blink 182, Lit, Fenix TX, Jimmy Eat World, Offspring, Sum 41, MxPx, Good Charlotte (first album only).

People thought Lovers & Friends was a scam too. It was the R&B version of this. 🤣 but it was very real.

There was alot going agisnt it, bands not knowing they were on the line-up til it was announced, having to change the schedule to actually fit all the bands. Happy that it worked out in the end though!

The festival was great, but im sorry, the MIXING WAS GARBAGE. The sound was so so so bad, and it was such a shame honestly. It was like I was blasting my favorite artists through through an old 90’s radio.

Davey sure looks different from when I use to see him in the early-mid 90s when AGI was all about east bay hardcore, AFI shows in those days were sm,no more than a 100 people ,Davey wasn't so flamboyant in those day's

Well, with respect to honesty of the festival and non-subjective feedback, if you were lucky enough to have a VIP pass or can afford it it was definitely worth it. However, many of us are not gifted the backstage access, which makes this festival a whole lot different of an experience!

Correct. However as being one who went I can tell you the unique thing about this fest was that free reentry was available. If you wanted to chill out in between set you didn't care about you were able to leave, chill out at either the Sarah or CircusCircus (insert nearby locale), then arrive back for the shows you care about. So yes completely different experiences but not all too dissimilar.

Can you let me know for people with medical conditions , I can’t tell is there a lot of walking from the entrance to the stages? Is there a lot of seating space nearby if need be?

Now I would have opted for the VIP tickets for next year. It’s a $300 difference but with being old, it may have been worth it 😢

Was the general admission near the fromt of the stage? Im thinking about buying tickets to sick new world and was wondering if its worth it?

To be fair, at the time the lineup was first released, it was only advertising one date. That’s part of the reason people doubted.

Got two VIP passes for next year! Hope it's not windy that day. 😬

Where are the youtubers now that said this is a scam festival? Shame on them...using their platform to spread negativity just for views.

The lines for merch were long maybe add QR codes to order and pickup like at Louder Than Life.

I think biggest reason they're able to get all the bands in one festival is because it's vegas, it's a place the bands want to be anyway, not hard to get them to come out and make money and have a great time while at it

In 2015 Vegas held Rock in Rio which incredibly undersold. They don't want to be in cities where the scene isn't popular though I'm glad wwwy did well.
