    Warne for me was probably the BIGGEST MATCH WINNER to ever step foot in the cricket field... He was a competitor, a fighter nd a champion... Big matches, difficult condition... Cometh the hour , cometh the man... Shane Keith Warne always delivered when the stage was high, nd that's why we love him

    A bit of a shame when your talking heads are saying "you have to watch the replay to believe it" then all Cricinfo can show is a poor quality animation. This video could have been improved by showing the ball of the century as a puppet show. Think on!!!!

    The only thing I can think of is it revived leg spin in test cricket as it was a dying art. It had been a long time for anyone (and particularly Australia) since they had a superstar match winning legspinner.

    Sandra Kap Hey come on, I am an Indian. But that does not mean that I cannot appreciate the talent he had. If u have any more doubt abt Warne's talent, just see the bowl that he bowled to Andrew Strauss in the Ashes series. Strauss was completely bamboozled by that. Plus he came from a country which did not had any renowned spinners.

    The last test of india’s tour of england moen ali used the rough to gain an abnormal spin and got KL Rahul. KL rahul was in spectacular form and his 200 plus partnership with Pant provided real threat of India disturbing England chances of winning the match

    3:54 I disagree a bit. It was Cricket coz Cricket is magic especially the Art of Bowling which is the most beautiful part of Cricket when done on Good Pitches i.e. Bowling Pitches. Dead Pitches will kill Cricket.

    This a very poor list. No 1 because he can't play spin? My list: 1. 20-20 matches 1st introduced. 2. Everyone start batting with big bats 3. Match fixing by well known players 4. Sri Lanka wins the world cup by attacking in the 1st 10 overs 5. Bodyline series 6. India becoming the major player in world cricket. 7. Murali was called "no ball " by umpire hair 8.     You would have to add in Australia v West Indies 1974-75. 5-1 to Australia, Clive Lloyd decided to fight fire with fire and created the 4 man pace attack. The beginning of 20 years of domination.

    Good list but the introduction of World Series Cricket by Kerry Packer changed the game far more than any of the other things. In fact if it hadn't happened, cricket may have largely died off by now.

    Warne is one of the greatest bowlers of all time and is probably the greatest character in cricket but the ball of the century and its celebration is a little overrated as it was bowled against england and propagated by English media. England batsmen are substandard players against spin to be honest, although the delivery and how much the ball spun was truly spectacular!
