Since the beginning of October, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated dozens of settlements in the Kherson region, including Zolota Balka. For more than seven months, the locals lived alongside the Russian occupants. This report shows how they survived the occupation.

I think this war has really made it clear what a nation of heroes Ukraine is!!
Thank you for all the dangerous work you do and showing the impact on ordinary people of the war. When people carr and stay together on such a basic level as a family and village they will do same on the level of a country. People like that cannot be defeated. Many others feel the same, given the number of comments about intending to visit Ukraine after the war and offer aid to the people, explore the beautiful lands, experience their culture, help the economy, or stay and help rebuild the infrastructure needed. I'd love to do the same if my health would allow it.

The content is great but I'm also in love with the artistic side of your videos. The angles, framing, the way the sound of a dog barking comes one second before on top of the previous frame -- that's how a real high end production looks like. I also love the culture of the simple ordinary people wherever I travel in the world and try to document all these lovely little details from their everyday life -- because people are fascinating, people are ultimately the only thing that matters in this world.

It is lovely - Hromadske do great work, I agree, but I take issue with your final point: the rest of the biosphere/ecosystems are important too, not just the humans, and we would do well to remember it.

If you dig just a little bit deeper, you'll find out that humans can die but the poor dog or cat is what really bothers you... until you realize, in it's core it's actually just a well hidden and curated -- hate for humanity.

I am simply reminding you that we don't _just_ need "the ground to walk on and the air to breathe", we also need, at a minimum, the ecosystems which allow us to eat, and beyond that the well-being that comes fairly directly from exposure to nature. I am not one of those people that is excessively concerned with pet welfare. I don't hate humanity, but the place would be improved by rather fewer of us, exerting less pressure on everything else. We should get to that state eventually because birthrates are now at a sustainable level worldwide, but we have to navigate at least the next 20 years (and maybe 40) before global population starts to decline, preferably without doing too much more damage to the systems upon which we (and all the other creatures) depend along the way. This period looks likely to be tricky, but is do-able.

Хороший ролик, о реальных людях, их жизни в тех условиях. Не то что некоторые, сидя в своих кабинетах, студиях, переписывают друг у друга, а то и выдумывают всякие "новости" под кричащими заголовками, мало, а то и вообще не соответствующими их содержанию.
