I am in love with her speaking Tagalog, absolutely amazing that she did what she said she'd do in her Q&A in 2021 and connect more with her roots. Honestly refreshing, just like when Celeste spoke Tagalog with Tito Boy which was very nice to hear. VVV really seems natural when she speaks Tagalog, not forced or anything. Nothing wrong with someone learning Tagalog and sounding forced but just a nice surprise that it sounds so natural to her. I'm sure Katrina helped her with it too ♥

I feel very bad for her or actually even for other beauty queens too when they need to “put their walls down” because people label them as “alta” MOST ESPECIALLY IN THE PHILIPPINES. (God I cannot stress that enough!) and a lot of pageant fans in the PH or Filipinos in general relate being “alta” to being “unreachable”. My god! Why??? Those are two different things. UNA SA LAHAT, kasalanan ba nilang mayaman sila? PANGALAWA SA LAHAT, is it their fault you are inferior? Or worse, insecure? Come on. And the you fans expect them to be themselves??? NO. You do not want them to be themselves because you tell them to change para makasabay ang “masa” no matter what that means for you. I hope ma-address din ito ni Adam sa mga vlogs nya. It’s good to be friendly and humble while being alta if that’s what you are. We cannot romanticise “masa” or “makamasa”.
