They haven’t. Murder is fixed by law in the UK to life imprisonment. I presume you’re thinking of the minimum tariff where an individual can be eligible for release on license; even in such cases they are not free, their conditions are strict, and they remain on license for life subject to recall at any time.

@@tb3616 It is; it’s fixed by law. Look at the sentencing council guidelines (they’re available online). It’s split into two tariffs: the minimum term order and the whole life order. The former enables the individual to apply for release on license to the parole board after they’ve served their minimum term. The sentence is still life - those that are released on license remain so until the end of their natural life; subject to recall at any time.

Where do you think the drugs and evidence collected goes? Back on the streets 🤣. People need to understand, if nobody’s committing crime then police have no jobs.
