It made me feel meh honestly

We were put here to garden the earth and help balance and support all the other life on the planet. I truly believe this is the case for humans and our place on earth

I really like your belief, yet humans have basically just done the exact opposite of this (at least since the rise of capitalism/industrialism). We have even created a kind of "hell on earth", if one dares to take a look at industrial farming of animals. As much as I wish, this was our place on this planet, if it truly was, we have done almost anything to deserve to be wiped of it. Thus, I hope we come to our minds in time (aka now)

@Domian Kappa you couldn't be more righti I agree totally. We are as a species on the planet going in the wrong direction and competing against each other for a bigger house or car or bank balance, etc... Burning up the resources and eating the animals when we can be happier and healthy if we take care of them and stop eating them and help sustain their habitats everyone wins. I believe we will U turn in the future. This knowledge is more and more available

Humans weren't put here, dude. We just evolved from single celled organisms with the primary purpose being multiplication. It's a nice little sentiment, but with absolutely no base in actual reality.

Since having a liveable environment, i.e. planet earth, is a necessary condition for the of multiplication; if multiplication is our objective, keeping good care of nature/the environment/the planet serves the same purpose.

Humans evolved with it, failing to take care of our planet will kill us and alot of the life around us. We should plant trees because it keeps us alive. We have no purpouse but to survive the best we can, and taking care of the planet is how we can do that. Its in our favor to repopulate the trees, but it is not our purpouse. It just bugs me when the meaning of life is so narrowed down but ill be fine lol

I'd love to have the "aboriginal science" explained a little further. It's my understanding that this is based on more than belief? Are they talking about observational knowledge or a basic understanding of these fungal networks; the trading of signals, nutrition and information?

"By understanding these connections, do we have a better chance of preserving our forests" ,What we have is a better chance of surviving when the trees decide they've had enough of humans. LOL
