He uses lean in corners for extra traction, then of course doing that saves fuel so you use rich on straights for extra power

Take that video and imagine doing this for 2 hours in a 50 degree Celsius and a limited view. F1 drivers are not human in my opinion.

Great video, only started watching F1 esports this year and seeing the Virtual Grand Prix’s earlier in the year. Not played F1 since 2010 so playing F1 2019/20 has been brilliant. Esport drivers are amazing 🏎

Great vid mate! On the whole we got strategy pretty right this year and the drivers were fantastic so some really positive signs for Shadow in '21!

Great vid you should do more of these and Demi Moreno is one to watch next year

yeah that is the case, Nathan is in a discord call with the drivers, so the speech audio is 'live' but the pov we're seeing is delayed by about 1-2 seconds from that, and that file has the audio from discord coming in too which is why there's an echo

Ben, I'm a very average player that doesn't think about things like temps yet and how they effect the car. I liked your explanation there about the DR on horsepower. Do you have a vid or can you do a vid where you explain all of those aspects, tire temps, engine temps, fuel loads, limits of setup settings, and other things an average player might not consider have an effect on performance. I'm only just now, in season three, starting to get into more advanced setups, let alone controlling temps and all that other stuff.

I find it very interesting all the F1 esports guys use T-Cam. Almost would think they would force cockpit view or something.

Honestly, I love e sports, F1 and Rocket League because the margin for error is essentially 0, these guys are like robots!

I'd say ERS is dramatically different. With ERS upgrades I can leave it on permanent;y on some tracks and never dip below 70% using it every lap and most of the time maxing the usage every lap. Looks like they have to be a hell of a lot more careful with it here.

How do they get their RPMs so precise for the race starts? My pedal is so sensitive I can't "find" 11000-11000plus RPM for the start. It's either too low, or races up to 13000RPM.

You can change the sensitivity on the pedals so if you have problems with them

I would watch F1 e-Sports when I could watch the races from this perspective. Otherwise it’s so often so difficult to follow.

2.6 second stop is the average for multiplayer in the game given to us, not just esports.

Baldwin really underperformed this year , Dani dragged the Maclaren all by himself

Give him some time. It takes time to develop as a driver. He's a great driver, he has the speed needed to be in esports, he just needs a few good races to get his confidence up and then he'll perform great.

He is too busy of a guy to compete with the very best at f1 esports. He competes in other platforms and real life racing, so he is not 100% focused on F1 as guys like Jarno Opmeer are.
