How to calculate depreciation of my home office deduction?

I read an article saying you must have a home office with a door separate from any other room. Is that true? I'm in a one bedroom and my next spacious area is my sunroom.. which is attached to my living room. Am I still qualified or would they get technical?

What if I live in a 1 bedroom apartment but work from home for my business? Can I square off an area and put dividers around it and make my own little office so I can deduct that space?

Does work for for the mortgage as well I own a home and I want to Airbnb a separate unit on my property can I write off the mortgage ?

Can I live in one state and then rent an apartment in another state as it would be cheaper than getting a hotel weekly? Are those rent payments tax deductible?

Do your home address need to be on the LLC application?

So if I'm a w2 but also have a home business, can I do this?

What if you are a w2 employee but also own a business? Can you still write off your rent?

It was just an example, he could have named anyone, who is renting out a large office space(s). However, you are right about being black doesn’t give you a pass, but that can go for every race. Your statements also have nothing to do with this video. You’re the one that brought up their blackness. It’s like you’re reaching or wanting to make an issue from a simple informative video. He could have used Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump and the information would remain the same. Just know that the larger the rental office space, the more money you can receive.
