Some corrections: The vertical stroke on Alef should be longer upwards. The "circle" part in Lamed should be smaller. The final, vertical stroke on Mem sofit should longer downwards. Pei sofit's "circle" should be on the same line as the other letters and the final stroke should not touch the body of the letter. Tsadik should be way bigger, isn't that small. Tsadik sofit has the same problems of Pei sofit. Kuf round part should sit in the line, and the vertical stroke's direction is downwards

I like cursive scripts, because they remind you that a certain language isn't just written by typing machines and printers, but also by actual people who prefer writing faster than bother putting serifs on every single letter.

Every calligrapher has their own signature to their work, no matter how precise the letters are taught. Same for cursive in Hebrew as it is presented here. In reality, it's the quickest, sans serif, normative way to write everyday Hebrew. In this sample, not all the letters are italicized (slanted in one direction): They vary. Some people have gorgeous, flowing cursive in Hebrew, some is choppy, some abbreviate or exaggerate upward and downward strokes. The list of variations goes on as it will in any language. Some people's dalets look line tsadiks because their tsadik is too short, and their dalets are too curved at the end. As an expat who loves calligraphy in any language, I often have to go back to the basics so I can read the personalized handwriting on the walls AND improve my own.

Doesn't cursive mean connected? Sorry if im wrong but we always call it Htav yad and Htav Dfoos, Htav yad=Hand writing(the thing he is doing). Htav Dfoos(print writing) is what you learn to read and write at a younger age, since all documents, books and pretty much everything else except for hand writing is Dfoos.

Sometimes when I write fast it looks neat and calligraphed but sometimes it looks like I was having a math test alongside writing so it's a 50/50 chance when writing hebrew, Cuz you can't connect the letters.

I really appreciate the effort taken. Interesting to see how a guy who can write kanji by hand handles heberew alphabet. The thing is that many letters are incorrect. Meaning that I will probably understand which letter you meant to write but would be wondering why is this guy who failed elementary school writing by hand instead of typing it up in a word processor. A sample of my daily writing hand: pasteboard.co/XtAf7HTRZ895.jpg
