For anyone struggling with hearing issues and the lack of subtitles, I hope this helps; Hi I’m Tom and I’m the program director for the food and human nutrition degree program here are my 5 tips for writing your personal statement. The first one is to show your passion for the subject of nutrition. Draw on examples across the world in terms of the challenges we’re facing. My second tip is to show and evidence your qualities and skills. You need to show basically what you’re are good at, what skills and qualities do you have that make you distinct from other applicants. The third tip is your ambitions and what you plan to do for your career, ultimately how studying this program will shape your future. The fourth point is planning your statement. Don’t just think you can just write it on one go. Mould it and shape it over the course of a few weeks. And the last point is to be original. You know yourself better than anyone else, so don’t copy anyone else, just be your self. And these are my five tips to perfect your personal statement. The very best of luck!
