⁠​⁠​⁠@@Itismegannthat’s exactly what I do 🤣. Every year, I watch videos on how to wrap gifts because I always mess it up, but then I always just end up putting them in gifts bags instead 🤣. I’m currently watching this video now because I still haven’t wrapped my presents for tomorrow & I forgot to buy gift bags…hopefully I can find some somewhere 😂😭😭😭

A tip I learned from an art class I took when I was younger, put the tape on your clothes, pull it off and stick it on there, it shouldn't rip.

I always tape onto the box. I’ve never had a present I wrapped rip the box. Idk if you’ve experienced this happen, or if you are inventing a scenario based on your imaginary simulation of the procedure. Personally, I’ve never had the rip the box when taping the paper to it. I have had people rip the box when the box itself is taped shut, because for some reason, wrapping tape is not easy to cut with tension alone, and requires the use of scissors or a knife.

Tape isn't that strong unless you use flex tape, you might be thinking of that glue they use on toy boxes, particularly Hot Wheels.

this does work, but not the way she did it. make sure that the point on the first 2 inward folds exactly overlap, so the two side pieces are identically shaped.
