THANK YOU FOR TAKING ABOUT THE TURNING CHAIN. I’ve watched so many beginner videos and I feel like this is never emphasize. The sides on my squares were always messed up. This is the best explanation video yet. I really appreciate it!

Drops the loop at 6:29, without skipping a beat says "let's do that again" and does it again, no muss no fuss. That's the mark of an unflappable instructor. Thanks so much!

I love you tube for this reason. I am a visual learner and this helps a lot when starting out in crochet. Patterns are Greek to me but now that I have some basic stitches they a little easier to read.

So, this is a great refresher for me, lol. Thank God for KZread, I don't have to ask anyone & look like a fool, lol.

Super easy to follow tutorial. Thank you for going slow and describing the difference between stitch and space. One question regarding the single crochet. After the single chain, you went into the third stitch. Why not the first? Is this done only on the first row or should I continue that each time I start a new row.

Question. When you start stitching into the chain, you hook through half of each “link” to start the stitch. When you moved to the second row, you hooked through the underside of the whole link rather than through the middle of it, correct? I just did several rows only hooking through the middle of the stitches and I don’t think it’s right. I guess I’ll keep doing it the way I’ve been doing it since I already messed it up but could you just clarify where exactly you are hooking on/in to each stitch? Beginner here so please forgive me if I don’t have the lingo down. Thanks!
