Definitely mate took a bit but I also took my time thought it out properly which is why everything fit so well and the 1st time I only had to make one little adjustment which was the spacer from the rear of the car.

Kwik grip you're supposed to wait 5-30 mins for it to get tacky THEN bring surfaces together. I read the instructions properly after carpeting my drawers 🤟😜 doesn't really matter tho mine is still stuck after many years. And also best idea would be another sheet of ply on top and then add the weights so it spreads the load evenly. Good job tho mate 👍

Great video. Did you earth your ancillary battery to the body. Or just the one earth cable from the DC/DC charger?

Hey mate, nice work. Looking at doing something simular. Just wondering - you went through a grommet on the drivers side, while I've seen other people go through the one on passenger side which comes out at the kick panel. Any reason or big difference between the two that you know of, or much of a muchness?

  • @4x4CampingandAdventures

I would say there is a Grommet on each side of the car as wires need to travel through from the motor I doubt there is much difference the main reason I ran through the drivers side is that’s where the battery was in the back.

Hey mate, how come you can't go back to agm once you've tried lithium? What are you planning on running? I'm about to start my 12v soon and I've got a 2nd battery tray and I'm torn between utilising that or having lithium in the car. All I plan on running is s fridge, travel buddy and some lights around camp. The lithium would be in a battery box so at least I can keep that if I sell my car

The main reason is weight and usage the fact you can use a lithium battery to essentially 0% and not cause any issues with the battery is my biggest draw card and the lifecycles, weight is just a added benefit.

Do you need to make a hole to let the cable go through the grommets?
