How to Wing Foil #9 First Foiling Foot Switch, Heel to Toe

In this episode Christian and Karine from CKPerformance Clinics are excited to take you through how to learn your very first foiling foot switch, the heel to toe .
This is very much intended as your first foiling foot switch. We say this as there are a myriad of methods and possibilities. We recommend learning the heel to toe switch first as it opens the door to the world of Toe side. Whilst the double step is our method of choice. We rate this technique because it works in all conditions, teaches you about the board’s balance point over the foil, and will lead toward the more advanced method should you fancy giving it a go sometime in the future…

First time I’ve seen anybody stepping back. Whatever works 🎉way more natural to step forward. Agree about a narrow stance. 🥂

Totally agree, that's why the first baby step is forwards:)

Yes! This worked for me. Go searching for the balance point (it really is there!) and move your feet around this point. Then shuffle you feet back into position This really was the magical moment for me to footswop!

Best video yet on the net on foot switches. I used this today and got some nice switches in. Amazing how big the balance zone is with feet together. The baby steps and the pointing lead foot towards front on the board to ‘unstick’ the feet 👣 is excellent.

Fantastic, didn't think I'd ever get the foot switch under control. This is a huge help. Looking forward to 'How to tack, on the foil.'

Great Video. It's now obvious for me that stance is far much wider. I will try to adjust that. Thank you.
