How-to wind up an extension cord on a Bayco extension cord organizer

Ойын-сауық

Summer is here and its time to get organized. If your like me you need an extension cord organizer, because its just one big corded mess in your garage or backyard.
I’m going t show you how to reel in your extension cordon a Bayco cord organizer. This specific version is a 150 ft. Extension cord organizer and has a handle to wind up the cord in place. There is a hanger or notch in the center of the extension cord winder that you use to loop your cord onto.
The method I am using causes you to be able to pull in the extension cord onto the power extension cord reel quickly.
The approximate cost of this specific cord organizer is $10 depending where you purchase one.
Note that this does not have any product placement for sponsorship and I am merely showing you how-to wind up an extension cord on an extension cord organizer.

    Nice presentation without cutting a hole in the organizer and fishing the cord thru the hole. This is a seamless process with the basic cord storage orgs I zee!

    On that critical halfway point part, I fold the cord in half and take a sharpie marker and mark the halfway point of the extension cord. This way when I begin to reel to cord in I look for the sharpie mark and know that’s my even middle halfway point and when done reeling both end are evenly together.

    What if I don’t have the center notch part but everything else. I’m sure it’s still doable just can’t unwind all the way but thanks saved me 50 ft of cord to wind up 👍🏽

  • @davidkugler1376
    @davidkugler13763 жыл бұрын

    The first thing to do with this particular reel is to fold the cord over in to itself to find the half way point. Hook the cord half way point on the clip on the reel and wind on the cord reel. The ends of the cord will come off the reel equally and you only have to unwind what you need.
