1:10 Outdated information. If enigma builds bkb linkens, you can use your stun to remove linkens during bkb, and after use swap to stop the black hole

What's even better about staying in the trees having your swap and blink dagger ready to cancel bh is you get to make the opponent team start blaming the enigma. And that is particularly true in lower skill brackets where players may not realise the threat you pose. They'd mad ping the 4 cores on your side that are standing next to each other and flame the Engima for not blinking in and using his ult. Sad but easily true LOL

Fully agree with the video concept! Presenting yourself as a threat is not always about just running into the fight, esp with reactive spells like Nether Swap or Hand of God.

This is a great video and I really love your channel! Do you think looking to build a solar crest rather than drums at the end would be preferable? Since you are just staying far back 95% of the time, I imagine it would be helpful to have solar crest on allies still. But I do get that would potentially lead to being out of position more often.

I think Solar is good when you get it early enough, but I don't really like getting it after the mid/late game. Drums does something similar in terms of movespeed/attack speed, but it's AOE so it would benefit more teammates. I think the slow immunity is also quite good for Muerta in the late game too so that she can get as much as possible done during her ult

the nova at min eight was so much you could do. but didnt swap ether the sniper or enigma in like 2-3 secs before it implodes. you could get the kill noone afraid of a 1-2 second black hole as you would get the 2.4 sec stun on them both and kill them if he tried. alternatively your free to save kunka. it's great you think your useful staying back to cancel the blackhole thus making enigmas impact also 0 but you have so much potential your wasting and theres moments where blackhole isnt useful like that one. cant blackhole nova has to pick muerta/ vs gets stunned 2 secs later and is only stunning for a half dead sniper to attack into.. basically the blackhole would have the same impact as magic missile at that moment with the lineup there is several abilities they dont want to walk into/past nova arena muerta ghost ghost ship so you could utilise that to stand closer to use your wave and aura as long as you arent close enough for your cores to get blackholed with you. sure they could use bkb and go on you but you can risk it or itemise towards it like aeon disc. the recomended playstyle is too safe great for new supports and if you want to just blame your cores for losing but a good support would see there is alot more potential to your hero ps some of your points are wrong like linkens can be popped by magic missile or x marks etc to allow you to still swap through the bkb

Cool video but i want another similar educational video this time of you playing enigma against vs or any hard counters. No high networth difference NA tier tilt wins or loss. Actually it doesnt have to be enigma it can be any hero in very hard countered situations and how do you position, itemize and what goes through your mind.

ZQ, love your content. Just letting you know, you actually can deal with enigma bkb + linkens by yourself. If he bkbs, you can cast missile and it’ll remove the linkens, then swap.

Hoodwink has been guaranteed value at my rank. Still losing because i cant patch up all the roles, but hitting big cooldowns and having decent waveclear + escape gives me a lot of presence and uptime. Not really playing Dota rn because the positive impacts i have isnt adding up enough to move the needle. And its too unfun in guardian.

So what would you say the enemy team should have done here? More specifically, what should Enigma have done? Should they have just tried to find you and take you out or at least get the nether swap out before engaging your whole team?

Positioning is a nightmare at my scrub ELO. You play vs a liche and your team sticks together like glue no matter how many times they get wiped by liche ult.

the problem is not standing there for better positioning and impact at the right moment, the problem is you will get shouted at and reported because your team thinks you're just there watching a movie from the sidelines when they jump in and die.

you clearly have never met my glimmer cape enigma the whole strategy you have for countering enigma is a tuesday for a 800 games engima as myself i will ''show'' myself on another lane just before i want to tp to a fight and leave the eidoleons pushing it, so the whole enemy team has the sense of safety of enigma not being there empowered by the sense of urgency because the eidoleons are pressuring a split pushed tower, so there is no place for doubt but a yolo lose aversion tunnel vision stance on the whole enemy team, jumping together whoever they first see see, the good thing about playing with 4k low behav morons, is I learned to make my own setups

Nope. I just hide w/ shadow amulet+smoke in the trees with aether lens, telescope, and blink waiting for you. I don't do anything until you blackhole. And on the very FRAME you blink blackhole I cancel with swap, golem, overgrowth, etc. I have been doing this to enigma players for years; I'm just waiting.
