These directions were spot on! I had no problem replacing this seal and saved a ton of money by doing myself. I'm a 54 year old lady so if I could do it so can you!

Finally did it. I've watched this video and a couple of others on this, this one being the best. Took me about 2 hours, i cleaned out pump filter while I was at it. Getting the spring ring back on was the most difficult part for me. Thanks for easy to follow videos. Much appreciated.

Best do it yourself tutorial I’ve ever watched and used! It was a breeze. Whirlpool model with a couple small differences but what a breeze. I’d of had to struggle changing the boot on my own. Thank you!

Great video. One thing you should also do while changing this out is empty the filter on the drain line. Unlike other washers that make this accessible externally this is on the bottom of the tub. Just unscrew and clean out. Takes an extra minute while in there. It's a big 2 inch cap/plug that you unscrew on my Maytag. No tools needed. The fact that you have to disassemble for that is my biggest complaint with this washer.

How do you do this? This is what I’m trying to find, though having this video give instructions on a way to deep clean the bellows is a good piece of info.

We were able to follow this video to replace the door bellow seal ourselves. The part we used is by SealPro and cost us about $150 CAD. I like the helpful "tools needed" part at the beginning. The hardest parts were removing the top cover (because the screws had rusted and were on really tight) and also putting back the spring clamp (using pliers and a screwdriver really helped). Lots of helpful tips in the comments, like aligning the drain holes, and cleaning out the drain filter.

Great video. Made quick work of what otherwise seemed like an intimidating job! One important thing that I (almost) got wrong was to make sure that the five holes at the bottom of the bellow seal line up with the five holes in the drum. This ensures that the water will drain! (I have a Maytag MHW7100DW0.)

Before replacing new bellow, make sure to see how many smaller holes are open on the old bellow. my old bellow had one hole open next to the large water fill tube. This video didn't instruct us to check for that. The appliance store gave me a heads up, which is how I knew about it. It's around the 4:00 minute mark you can see the two holes I'm talking about. on the top portion of the bellow.

The actual timestamp is 3:06 to see the 5 holes on the tan colors plastic part of the washing machine. I didnt see any holes shown in this video that showed the corresponding holes on the bellows part but Im sure they are there.

With the repair completed, I'm getting a LF code. Is there a sensor or a level I should check or replace? When I turn on a wash cycle, it turns on, the water begins to enter as usual, then after a couple of seconds it trips the electric outlet.
