How to Wheelie Your Motorcycle (MT-07)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I'm no expert but a few people were asking me how I progressed so fast, hopefully these tips are useful to some people.
Also ignore my leg sticking out, sometimes happens just to keep my balance, I'm aware it looks weird.

    I like how you showed us exactly how much throttle to do and how fast to let out the clutch before riding and doing it. A lot of the wheelie videos from other people try to show us real quickly how to wheelie while writing and they’re not showing us before they start writing how to pop the clutch and throttle. Thanks for showing us so we can understand better.

    Mate, your progression has been sick! I started 2 months ago and I’m only 2/3 of your height. Still having to chase them rather than balance. But your tips of speed have been great. I’ll keep on practicing and hopefully reach your skill someday. Many thanks for the video, it’s great to watch and learn. PS: MT-07s are the best bikes to wheelie!!

    I love reading comments like this, thank you so much man. Trust me it's so frustrating in the beginning because you're like why can't I get the wheel of the ground so easy, why can't I go further, why can't I go any higher and I was stuck like that for the first week or so just doing tiny ones but trust me you'll get it if you keep practicing a lot and you'll look back and think damn... this really is easier than I thought. Glad you enjoyed the video and found it helpful and yes, they are the best 😉

    if you want, a popular and really good improvement on the bike is to change the throttle handle for an R6 throttle handle. so you dont have to break your wrist if you try to go full throttle. the R6 cuts it down to roughly 70 degrees of rotation, instead of the standard 90 degrees...

    Always hear you want to let off the clutch as fast as possible. First time i hear that you should do it in motion. I did some power wheelies in 2nd gear at 60-80kmh, but want to learn it with the clutch to do it at lower speed. But if I try to do a clutch wheelie, i only feel a force pulling me back and the bike forward, instead of pushing the bike up. Do you pull the Bike up like you do for a power wheelie? I really want to learn it, but im still afraid of burning my clutch or destroying my fork... ^^ Sorry for my bad english ^^

  • @ReevyMotovlogs

    @ReevyMotovlogs

    4 жыл бұрын

    With a clutch up I started very slowly, by that I mean low rpms just to get a feel for it, in the beginning it will be difficult and you will feel like you're getting nowhere. Just keep going, keep giving it more rpms each time until you feel comfortable, you can pull on the bars in 2nd gear and it will come up eventually but you will get to a point where you can just let the clutch out and the front wheel will just pop straight up. It takes a lot of time and practice to get it perfect but you will get there eventually.

    I completely get where you're coming from mate, even though I didn't know him it was even a shock to me. Tbh I had an MT-125 when I found his channel and he was the reason I wanted an MT-07 That's why mainly I do them out the way and after hearing this again does make me think that's where they should be done. As for power wheelies I cant even do them anymore after learning clutch ups, they feel harder to handle and more effort. Trust me man I don't blame you for "sounding like my dad" because if it happened to a close friend of mine I'd be the exact same, I probably wouldn't even be wheeling tbh RIP MotoTurtle 💜
