This is THE BEST how to wheelie video I have ever watched by far! So many times I've heard "it's all clutch and brake," or "once the bike comes up pull in the clutch and coast" but no one has ever said you don't need the clutch until you're at balance point! Without that piece of info it's a constant battle not to loop when I pull clutch in, bike starts to come down and I have to rip to get the front back up and I'm flying. Brian your content is 100% solid bro.

i got my license and mt 07, and i was throttling up for a few days, found balance point by accident... thank god for engine break on that beast, did clutch ups for a few days now i can ride out second gear, learning to upshift this summer for sure :D

I have to point out is that 2 strokes are much harder to learn on than 4 strokes. They hit just different. 2 strokes have bit more bite when you give them gas.

Ive been practicing wheelies and the stock clutch lever and its a workout after a while. would you recommend an after market lever, or just get good with stock first?

I have been enlightened

I'm 16 years old and live in Germany. Because of that I'm only allowed to ride motorcycles up to 15hp and 125ccm. I have to rev my Yamaha WR125R (125ccm, 4-stoke, 15hp) nearly to the rev limter in first gear to get it to the balance point. It has to be so easy for you to get the front wheel up. But after two weeks of practising I'm doing my first short balance point wheelies.
