When I started dancing hip-hop 10 years ago, I went to alot of competitions and I've learn alot on whacking over the years, they told me to not close your hands and leave them straight open like you about to slap someone in the face! The way you are showing tho is just perfect! I WANT MORE WAACKING TUTORIALS! :D

I absolutely love this! Ive never been a good dancer, im too stiff a lot of the time in my upper body and hips due to back issues so i love that theres a more alternative dance thats simple yet complex that doesnt souly rely on large body movements.

I've took one whack class (prior) my whole life and this was super easy to follow, thank you for this video, and VincaniTV as usual for being a g!

I originally watched this video a couple of years back, not sure how I came across it but it got me interested in whacking. After some more time watching videos on it now and then and attending a big whacking competition I started classes on the style. Some of which taught by Lorena herself, but not remember it was her in this video. It is only now after several months of practise and finding this video again that thanks to her I started this whole thing! So a late thank you for this video because it's overall been a very fun and positive experience learning this style!

Update: I can confidently say I'm now a waacker. I can literally freestyle to this now with wider combos and improvisation on the spot. Basics are really important, but keep learning and even inventing your own unique combos. Listen to disco music and study the instruments ❣️

@@anthonyvazquez4158 haha word! Man thats a tough one. I actually recently learned a different technique for those which kind of like doing turtles. I am going to have to spend some time mastering it before I teach but check out Kujos walk videos. It is very similar.

Maybe you’re trying to go too fast?? You might need to focus on where your arms are going first and try not to over extend either (that can actually be bad for your elbows) hope this helps !
